Description
When the Job Calls. If you drive a heavier vehicle and drive in situations where you may need to tow it out of trouble, such as sand, snow or mud, then having a couple of D-Rings attached to the bumper is going to make things a lot easier. The Smittybilt ¾ in. 4.75 Ton D-Ring Shackle, is just what the doctor ordered. Once these are attached, using a tow strap is as easy as one, two, three. They can also be used in ordinary driving conditions as well.
Power of Iron. The ring and the pin are made of cast iron, one of the strongest materials you can use. It is first given a zinc coating and then given a black powdercoat finish; you can count on these accessories to last a long time without rusting on you. They are designed to be used on all off-road bumpers, including the SRC & XRC. Rated to haul over four tons, a pair of these are capable of getting most, if not all trucks and SUVs, out of the elements.
Installation. Installing one of these D-rings is going to be an easy job. It is designed to fit most if not all off-road bumpers. If you already have Smittybilt bumpers, it will be easier since they come with shackle mounts pre-installed.
Warranty. Smittybilt offers a limited lifetime warranty of five years on these D-rings. It will cover issues related to design and material for the original purchaser of the product.
Application. The Smittybilt ¾ in. 4.75 Ton D-Ring Shackle is made to fit all 2002-2024 Dodge RAM models.
