Description
Tailgate Camera Relocation. The License Plate Mini Mount LVDS Tailgate Camera Relocation Kit enables relocation of the factory-installed tailgate camera—or the combined tailgate and cargo/3rd brake light cameras—to a preferred flat surface such as the license plate. It maintains full functionality of the original factory camera system, preserving integration with the factory 360-degree surround view camera system and factory display.
Construction and Appearance. The kit includes a sturdy license plate bracket and a versatile mini universal mounting bracket designed for secure attachment to flat surfaces. The camera comes pre-attached with a 4-foot LVDS cable featuring a factory connector, ensuring reliable electrical connections and straightforward plug-and-play installation. All components are built to withstand outdoor conditions for long-lasting durability.
Installation. Installation is user-friendly, requiring no drilling when mounting behind the license plate as it uses the existing license plate screws. The included mounting brackets also allow for other flat surface mounting options. The plug-and-play connector integrates easily with the factory backup camera wiring without requiring any cutting or splicing.
Warranty. This product includes a two-year warranty on the camera, providing quality assurance and peace of mind.
