Description
Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge. The 1500-degree Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge with black dial and 7 selectable LED backlighting colors monitors exhaust gas temperature accurately up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. It is essential for diesel truck owners, especially those driving long distances or hauling heavy loads, to prevent engine damage caused by excessive exhaust heat.
Construction and Appearance. This gauge features a black dial face with an analog display beneath a magnified clear lens. The illuminated needle is powered by stepper motor technology for smooth, precise needle movement. With seven LED backlighting color options, users can customize lighting to complement vehicle interiors or factory dash illumination.
Installation. Installation requires drilling and tapping the exhaust manifold to 1/8-27 NPT to install the included Type K thermocouple probe. The kit includes all necessary hardware, as well as a specialized drill bit and tap to ensure proper fitment. Moderate mechanical skill may be required for installation.
