The Shocker Hitch 14K Air Hitch Base Frame Assembly with three D-handle pins for 2.50-inch receiver hitch features advanced air ride technology designed to cushion towing dynamics by absorbing road shocks, bumps, and jerks. This air suspension system improves towing safety and comfort by reducing trailer sway and providing superior load control through adjustable air pressure.
Construction and Appearance. Built from heavy-duty materials, the base frame includes rugged steel construction augmented by a premium impact-resistant red powder coat finish that enhances durability and corrosion resistance. The air ride system is integrated beneath the receiver tube, supported by a simple yet effective rocker arm pivot design using quality components such as 1045 carbon steel pivot bolts with grease zerks.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling; simply slide the hitch into the receiver and secure it with included hitch pins and cotter clips. The process is manageable for most users with basic mechanical knowledge and does not demand specialized tools.
Application. Fits universal receiver hitch configurations with 2.5-inch openings; some adaptation may be required depending on vehicle and mounting specifications.
