Description
Heavy-Duty Frame Section. The Rust Buster Front Frame Section is designed to restore and reinforce rust-affected frame areas on heavy-duty pickups. This product strengthens the truck's structural integrity by capping the existing frame from underneath at the front of the cab, preventing further corrosion and damage. It is essential for extending the service life of trucks exposed to harsh conditions and rust-prone environments.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from thick 7 gauge steel to meet original equipment specifications, this repair section provides durable, high-quality restoration. The part features precise OEM-aligned holes and includes perforations for the transmission crossmember and front cab mount to allow selective cutting if those areas do not need to be removed. It ships with a protective oil coating to prevent oxidation during transit.
Installation. Welding is required to install this frame repair section. The included perforations allow for selective cutting where removal of adjacent components is unnecessary, which can simplify the installation process.
