Description
Precision Frame Repair. The Rust Buster Rear Frame Section is designed to restore the structural integrity of your Dodge Ram 1500's rear frame rail. It replaces the corroded or damaged portion from the rear spring mount to the bump stop, helping maintain the frame's durability against rust and damage.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from heavy-duty 11 gauge steel, this repair section is built to original equipment specifications. It features pre-cut holes for ease of installation and includes perforations to accommodate the spare tire crossmember. The panel ships with a protective oil coating and is recommended to be finished with a rust converter paint for long-term corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation requires welding and some fabrication skills. Pre-cut holes facilitate alignment, but welding is necessary to complete the repair.
