It clamps the bike by the front wheel, avoiding frame contact and accommodating a wide range of tire widths and diameters. This design ensures protection for your bicycle and ease of use, especially when mounting bikes high on your vehicle.
Construction and Appearance. This bike rack features form-fitting stainless steel mounting straps that provide a durable and secure attachment to virtually any roof rack bar, including square, round, factory, and aero styles. Its handle is ergonomically shaped like brass knuckles for improved leverage and ease of use. Finished entirely in black, it offers a sleek, utilitarian look while providing lasting corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. Stainless steel straps firmly secure the rack to the crossbars. The ergonomic handle facilitates tight and secure fastening with minimal effort, suitable for both professional installers and DIY users.
Application. Fits universally on crossbars with a spread between 24 and 43 inches and accommodates bicycle wheel sizes from 20 to 29 inches with corresponding tire widths up to 3.0 inches, extendable to 5 inches with an additional kit. Not compatible with bicycles equipped with front fenders, and lock cores are sold separately.
