Description

The Rancho RS5000X Strut is a fully loaded suspension strut and coil spring assembly engineered to restore the factory ride height while enhancing on- and off-road handling performance. It is designed to replace worn or damaged struts on late-model trucks and SUVs, delivering improved ride quality and vehicle control.
Construction and Appearance. This strut assembly incorporates a nitro-carburized piston rod to resist corrosion and scuffing, and features double-welded loops at critical stress points for enhanced durability. The coil spring is application-specific and precisely calibrated for optimal performance. Gas-pressurized with nitrogen at 60 PSI, it reduces damping fade to maintain consistent ride quality and long-term reliability.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with the complete assembly design including an upper mounting plate. It requires no spring compressor or drilling, making it suitable for both experienced DIYers and professional installers.
