Description
Bumper Hitch Solution. The Westin or DMI Bumper Mounted Trailer Hitch provides a sturdy attachment point for towing by mounting directly to the vehicle's step bumper. It allows users to tow trailers efficiently by offering a receiver tube for various hitch-mounted accessories, enhancing towing flexibility and safety.
Construction and Appearance. This hitch is made from durable materials and finished with a high-gloss black powder coat to resist corrosion while maintaining a sleek appearance. It is also co-cured in a rust-resistant liquid A-coat, extending the product’s lifespan and preserving its finish.
Installation. The hitch bolts onto the bottom of the step bumper using pre-spaced mounting holes, reducing installation complexity. Typically, no complicated modifications or extensive drilling are needed to install this hitch.
Warranty. The product is backed by a limited lifetime warranty covering the finish and parts for one year.
Application. Designed for universal fit with Westin and DMI bumpers, some adaptation may be necessary. It is not compatible with bike racks that require vertical hanging of bicycles.
