The RAM 1500 Step Nerf Bar is made using a polymer and aluminum composite, which lends it plenty of strength while also making it flexible enough to not snap when weight is placed on it. The step pads are UV-treated and made using a non-slip material that provides a ton of traction. Plus, the entire bar is covered in a black powder coating that ensures rain, sleet, and snow can’t rust or corrode the metal.

Brackets Required for Installation. Before mounting this nerf bar, you must have LUND’s running board mounts installed in your vehicle. These are sold separately and can be found using part number 300036. Assuming you have the brackets, this nerf bar installs easily without the need for drilling.

Protected for Life. With LUND’s limited lifetime cover, you’re protected against all material and manufacturing defects. Lasting for as long as you own the bar, this warranty ends if you transfer the part to another person.

Application. The RAM 1500 Step Nerf Bar installs into Dodge RAM 1500 Regular Cab vehicles made between 2002-2008. It uses LUND’s mounting brackets for the installation.
