Description

This rear driveshaft is designed and engineered to factory specs and features a 1-piece, twin U-joint configuration. This design translates to trouble-free installation and more importantly, excellent performance.
Strong and Light. One feature that makes this driveshaft the perfect choice for your driveline repair job is its all-aluminum construction, which is lighter than standard steel shafts. However, this rear driveshaft also features a 5-inch diameter and thicker walls, making it just as strong as one made from steel. This lighter weight gives your truck a bit more performance potential both on and off-road.
Pre-Balanced and Completely Serviceable. Apart from being strong and lightweight, this rear driveshaft is also pre-balanced out of the box, eliminating the need for balancing post-installation. Furthermore, its twin U-joints come with a non-staked design, making them completely serviceable when damaged and eliminating the need for complete replacement.
Tough Build Quality. This rear driveshaft starts out 5-inch diameter, 0.125-inch thick-walled tubular aluminum, making the final assembly extremely tough. The aluminum tube is then precision-cut and formed to OE specifications, offering an exact fit. What’s more, the twin U-joints are precision-machined before getting expertly welded onto the shaft for superior performance.
