Description
Engine Bay Heat Protection. The Protect-A-Boot and Wire Kit offers essential protection for spark plug boots and wires against extreme engine heat. Crafted from nonflammable glass fiber material, this kit is designed to prevent wire burn-through and electrical shorts, especially in high-performance and off-road vehicles. Ideal for boosted or high-output engines, it ensures ignition reliability under tough conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Each boot in the kit features a double-wall construction made of high-temperature glass fiber, rated to withstand up to 1000°F. The sleeves come in a durable finish that resists wear and thermal breakdown. The included shrink tubes provide a water-tight seal around your wires, improving overall engine bay durability and appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and does not require specialized tools. Simply slide the boots over the spark plug wires and secure with the provided shrink tubing. Some adaptation may be necessary depending on wire routing or aftermarket modifications.
