High-Temperature Line Protection. The Heat Shroud; 12 AN x 10-Foot is designed to protect lines, hoses, and wires from heat damage and abrasion without requiring disconnection. It wraps around existing lines, providing protection against oil, dirt, and road grime, while enabling easy installation even in tight spaces. This product helps ensure the longevity and reliable performance of fluid lines in harsh engine environments.

Construction and Appearance. Made from 19-ounce heat-treated glass fiber insulation, the Heat Shroud has an aluminized outer surface that reflects radiant heat up to 2000°F. It is reinforced with aramid thread for excellent abrasion resistance and flame-retardant performance. The durable aluminum exterior features a hook & loop closure for secure and easy application.

Installation. Installation requires no tools or disconnection of existing lines. Simply cut the desired length, wrap it around the hose or line, and secure with the hook-and-loop closure for a snug, tool-free fit—no drilling necessary.

Application. This Heat Shroud is designed for universal fit; some minor adaptation may be necessary depending on hose or line diameters. It is not intended for direct contact with exhaust components and should be used only on hoses, wires, and lines as recommended.
