      Description

      Extreme Heat Protection. The Form-A-Shield (12-Inch x 21-Inch) is engineered to provide a direct-contact, extreme heat barrier. Capable of withstanding direct heat up to 1400°F, this shield is ideal for applications such as exhaust headers, manifolds, turbo housings, and downpipes, significantly reducing radiant exhaust temperatures.

      Construction and Appearance. This heat shield is constructed from 10 mil dimpled aluminum bonded to a high-temperature-rated basalt thermal barrier material. The combination offers durability and resistance to oil and chemical spills. Its pliable nature allows it to conform to various shapes and configurations, making it versatile for different applications.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, as the Form-A-Shield can be fastened using straps, clamps, or Locking Ties. No adhesive backing is present, so drilling is not required. For non-hot areas, Adhesive Spray can be used to serve as a heat barrier or reflector.

      Application. This Form-A-Shield (12-Inch x 21-Inch) fits universally, allowing adaptation to various vehicles and applications.
