Description

The Air Suspension Compressor replaces the original unit on nitrogen-filled air suspension systems that can fail due to motor overheating when leaks cause the motor to exceed its duty cycle. It ensures a reliable air supply to maintain proper suspension performance and vehicle height control, essential for ride comfort and handling.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a rugged die-cast aluminum housing and a durable aluminum piston, this compressor enhances longevity compared to the original plastic piston. It includes upgraded seals and a new valve block and motor rated for improved thermal capacity. The assembled unit underwent vehicle try-on, corrosion, and material testing.
Installation. Designed for straightforward installation with included mounting bracket and connectors. No drilling is typically required, making it suitable for professional or experienced DIY installation.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit Ram 1500 models from 2013 through 2018.
