      Description

      Professional Racing Seat. The RaceQuip FIA Rated Composite Racing Seat; 17-Inch X-Large delivers superior support and containment for professional and serious amateur drivers seeking enhanced car control. Certified to FIA 8855-1999 standards with an FIA hologram affixed, it ensures safety and compliance in competitive racing environments. This seat securely holds the driver in place, improving focus and vehicle handling during high-performance driving conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. The seat is built from a one-piece, lightweight fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) composite shell, hand-laid for maximum strength and durability. It incorporates energy-absorbing memory foam cushions in both the seat bottom and back for enhanced comfort and safety. The cover is made of durable cloth fabric with reinforced smooth areas in high-wear zones for extended durability. Exposed shell areas have a glossy black gelcoat finish for a stylish appearance and easy cleaning.

      Installation. Installation is facilitated by four built-in 8mm threaded side mount fasteners, eliminating the need for drilling. Optional mounting brackets are available to adjust the seat’s recline angle from 0° upright to 30° layback to customize positioning.

      Application. Suitable for universal fitting; some adaptation may be required for specific vehicles.
