Get rid of a check engine light after installing high flow catalytic converters or a cat-less exhaust system with this Prosport Mini Cat O2 Sensor CEL Fix; 45 Degree Mounting. The check engine light that appears when you install high-flow cats or a cat-less exhaust system normally requires ECU re-programming to deactivate. This O2 sensor CEL is designed to install into your RAM’s O2 sensor, allowing the device to trick it into thinking your factory cats are still installed. In doing so, you’re able to get the full performance benefits of your high flow system without the annoying check engine light.
Built-In Miniature Cats. This device’s function is courtesy of a miniature catalytic converter built into its structure. This miniature cat works by modifying the exhaust gases received by your O2 sensor to register a normal exhaust reading. What’s more, this device is designed to mount onto your sensor at a 45-degree angle and features a universal thread design. These factors make it ideal for installation in tight spaces as well as compatible with virtually all kinds of O2 sensors.
