Description
Removes Check Engine Light. After you uninstall your catalytic converter or make modifications to your exhaust, it is common to see an annoying Check Engine Light notification, as your post O2 sensor detects increased operating temperatures. This can cause the CEL to show error codes, usually stating that the catalytic converter is operating below the acceptable threshold. The Mini Cat O2 Sensor from Prosport provides the solution to this irritating notification. It actually includes a built-in miniature catalytic converter which makes the engine control unit believe that the stock catalytic converter is still connected, preventing that annoying dashboard notification from showing up in the first place. Please note that this product is only suitable for off-road usage.
Rugged Construction. The Prosport Mini Cat O2 Sensor is made from 100% stainless steel, meaning that it will be able to withstand the high temperatures which your exhaust system operates at without suffering from blistering or corrosion.
