Description
Performance Exhaust System. The PPE Performance DPF-Back Single Exhaust System with Polished Tip is designed to optimize exhaust flow by reducing backpressure and exhaust gas temperature. This system enhances turbocharger response and overall engine efficiency, delivering improved performance. It is engineered for use on turbocharged 6.6L Duramax diesel engines to maximize power delivery and durability.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 304 stainless steel, this exhaust system features a fully polished tip and mandrel-bent tubing for superior flow characteristics and corrosion resistance. The highly polished exterior provides a durable and visually appealing finish. High-temperature resistant stainless steel clamps ensure a secure and lasting installation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no welding, making it accessible to users with basic mechanical skills. Please note that cutting the factory exhaust after the DPF is necessary for models from 2011 onward and may require additional tools and care.
Warranty. This exhaust system is backed by a 1-year limited warranty for peace of mind regarding quality and workmanship.
Application. Specifically designed to fit late 07.5 to 2019 6.6L Duramax Sierra 3500 HD trucks, this system excludes crew cab long bed configurations and requires modification of the factory exhaust on 2011-2019 models.
