This front and rear brake rotor and pad kit combines a factory fit with advanced designs that will improve your truck’s stopping power. These factors allow you to use your truck in more intense applications like towing without compromising everyday drivability. What’s more, this brake rotor and pad kit is more than capable of taking the extra weight of larger wheel and tire combos. This means you can finally outfit your truck with those larger tires you’ve always wanted.
Robust Cast Iron Rotors. This kit’s brake rotors are cast from high-grade iron before getting precision-machined and mill balanced. This process produces a set of brake rotors that provide superior strength and smooth, vibration-less performance. The rotors are then finished in a robust silver zinc plating, giving them exceptional corrosion protection and a distinct high-performance style.
Cross-Drilled and Slotted Rotor Design. The brake rotors are also cross-drilled and slotted, greatly improving braking power and consistency. Specifically, the beveled cross drillings keep the rotors cool helping prevent brake fade. Meanwhile, the rounded directional slots work to remove moisture, gas, and debris from the rotor face maintaining an ideal contact patch for the pads. This ensures excellent stopping power in any road condition.
State-Of-The-Art Z23 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads. This kit also includes a set of Z23 brake pads equipped with a state-of-the-art carbon-fiber-reinforced ceramic friction compound that’s extremely resistant to heat. This heat resistance allows the pads to keep a high level of friction. When combined with the rotors, these pads offer consistent braking performance, even through rapid braking cycles.
Reduced Dust and Noise. The brake pads’ friction compound is also designed to keep dust at a minimum so you don’t have to clean your wheels that often. Additionally, these pads feature an OE style chamfered and slotted design that works with the dual-layer rubberized shims to help reduce braking noise.
Convenient Install Procedure. This brake rotor and pad kit is designed as a factory replacement for your RAM’s factory rotors and pads. No drilling or extra modifications to your truck are needed. Also, installation is needs just standard hand tools to complete. However, you may need a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, as well as high-temperature brake pad lubricant.
Complete Front and Rear Kit.
