What’s more, the rotors feature genuine silver GEOMET coating that also works to give your wheel area a distinct performance-oriented look.
Wear-Resistant Cast Iron Rotors. The brake rotors included with this kit are constructed from high-quality iron using an advanced precision-casting technique offering an accurate fit and exceptional durability. The rotors are then machined and mill-balanced, providing vibration-free braking. Rounding out their construction is a genuine silver GEOMET coating applied inside and out. This coating greatly improves corrosion resistance while also giving them a high-performance style.
Smooth Rotor Face Design with Internal Vents. The rotor face is kept smooth to maintain its factory-style while providing the brake pads optimal surface area for maximum bite. Moreover, the internal vents help cool down the rotors more efficiently, greatly reducing brake fade.
Unique Z17 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads. This rotor and pad kit replaces your stock pads with a set of Z17 brake pads. These brake pads utilize specially formulated ceramic friction compounds engineered to increase stopping power. This friction compound is also more resistant to heat, offering reliable braking day in and day out.
Minimal Dust and Noise. The ceramic friction material is also designed to produce very little dust. This means you don’t have to clean your wheels as often as before. Moreover, these brake pads include an OE chamfered and slotted style that works with the dual-layer rubberized shims to reduce noise for a quieter ride.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. Installing this front brake rotor and pad kit is a relatively uncomplicated procedure as these will replace your RAM’s factory counterparts without the need for modifications. Furthermore, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete. Please note that you might need a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, as well as high-temperature brake pad lubricant during installation.
