Description
High-performance reverse lighting. The Morimoto Boost Bar License Plate Light delivers powerful and efficient LED reverse lighting, dramatically enhancing rear visibility. Designed for universal mounting, it installs on standard US-spec license plate mounts to provide bright, focused illumination when reversing.
Construction and appearance. The light bar is built with a powder-coated die-cast aluminum housing for rugged durability. It features a UV-coated, optical-grade polycarbonate lens engineered to project a precise 45-degree beam pattern. Finished in satin black, it offers long-lasting protection against water and dust intrusion, meeting IP69K standards.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and generally requires no complex modifications, as it bolts onto the top two standard US license plate mounting holes. The setup includes integrated wiring and a power tap kit, enabling quick plug-and-play or universal wire tapping without drilling.
Warranty. This product is backed by a five-year limited warranty that provides reliable, long-term coverage.
Application. Designed for universal compatibility with most 9–16V reverse light circuits. It fits US-spec license plate mounts but excludes 2019 and newer Ram 1500 models due to bumper shape differences.
