Description
Innovative Split Shackle Combo. The Moose Knuckle Offroad Jowl Split Shackle 3/4 and Mohawk 2.0 Receiver Combo; Red Rum/Gun Gray is engineered for fast, tool-less recovery connections, eliminating the need to remove shackles during recovery operations. It enables quick rope or strap hookups on the trail, enhancing safety and efficiency for off-road enthusiasts by streamlining recovery tasks in demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. The Jowl shackle is forged from high-strength Grade 8 carbon steel and finished with a durable powder coating available in a range of automotive colors. The shackle pin features a black nickel-plated finish. The Mohawk 2.0 receiver is warm forged from 6082 aluminum with grain flow orientation for optimal strength, finished with weatherproof anodizing in Red Rum and distinctive laser-etched logos for lasting durability and style.
Installation. Installation requires no drilling. The shackle pin is secured by two M18 cap screws, designed for easy installation or removal with common socket wrenches, enabling quick adjustments on the trail without specialized tools.
Application. This combo fits universal mounts with some adaptation, compatible with 2.0 or 2.5 inch D-Ring tow shackle receiver hitch bracket mounts featuring a 7/8 inch pin hole diameter and a mount width up to 1.25 inches.
