Description
PRODUCT OVERVIEW. The Moose Knuckle Offroad Jowl Split Shackle 3/4 and Mohawk 2.0 Receiver Combo is designed to streamline vehicle recovery operations by enabling quick, tool-less rope and strap connections. This innovative combo allows off-road enthusiasts and professionals to connect recovery gear safely and efficiently without removing shackles from the vehicle. The system is essential for reducing downtime on the trail, making vehicle recoveries faster and more reliable.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Crafted for durability, the Jowl Split Shackle is made from high-strength Grade 8 carbon steel with a powder-coated finish on the hooked sides and black nickel plating on the pin for corrosion resistance. The Mohawk 2.0 Receiver is constructed from warm forged 6082 aluminum with grain flow oriented to maximize strength and wear resistance. The receiver features a UV and weather-proof anodized atomic silver finish with laser-etched logos, providing both functionality and a distinctive aesthetic.
INSTALLATION. Installation of the Jowl Split Shackle and Mohawk 2.0 Receiver Combo is straightforward, requiring common 1/4 inch socket wrenches without the need for drilling or specialized tools. The design includes metric cap screws and adapters to simplify mounting and removal, enabling fast and secure attachment even in rugged trail conditions.
APPLICATION. This product is universal and may require some adaptation depending on vehicle mounting configurations. It fits most 2.0 or 2.5 inch D-Ring tow shackle receiver hitch bracket mounts within standard pin hole and width dimensions.
