Description
Thermostatic Oil Control. The Mishimoto Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate regulates oil flow to the cooler by activating a built-in thermostat when the engine oil reaches 185°F (85°C). This feature improves warm-up time during startup and protects the oil system in colder climates by preventing unnecessary oil cooling. It is suitable for various vehicles requiring precise oil temperature management.
Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from lightweight 6061 aluminum, this sandwich plate is CNC-machined for precision and durability. It has a gold finish and includes a black 1/8-inch NPT plug port for additional sensor or oil feed applications. The square rubber O-ring ensures a secure and leak-free seal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and rated as easy. The kit comes with all necessary components for an uncomplicated upgrade to your oil cooling system.
Warranty. This product comes with a lifetime limited warranty, offering long-term protection against defects. Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required.
