Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter; OEM Grade is engineered to replace your factory catalytic converter, restoring proper exhaust emissions control and keeping the check engine light off. Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter is constructed from high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing with durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds for exceptional corrosion resistance and long service life. The unit features mandrel bent tubing to preserve OEM-like geometry, finished in a stainless steel texture with an aluminized steel heat shield for added durability.
Installation. Installation is designed to be straightforward with no cutting or welding required, utilizing included one Torca clamp and one crush ring gasket for a secure fit. The direct-fit design is created with state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology, allowing for a precise fit that facilitates do-it-yourself replacement with standard automotive tools.
Warranty. This catalytic converter includes emissions and construction warranties to provide peace of mind regarding product quality and durability.
