Built with durable 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and finished with stainless steel for corrosion resistance, this catalytic converter features single laser fusion welds and 308 stainless steel MIG welds for enhanced leak prevention and reliability. The clam-shell body type and aluminized steel heat shield add to its robust construction.
Installation. This catalytic converter is designed for universal installation requiring professional welding due to its pipe connection inlet and outlet types. It is compact and lightweight to fit into confined areas but installation requires welding and is not a simple bolt-on.
