The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; HM Grade; 2.25-Inch is designed to reduce harmful emissions and help prevent the vehicle's check engine light from activating. CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Constructed from high strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds, this catalytic converter ensures exceptional corrosion resistance and longevity. It features a clam-shell body design with a stainless steel finish and includes an aluminized steel heat shield for added protection and thermal efficiency.
INSTALLATION. Installation requires professional welding due to the precise placement and orientation needed. The converter’s compact and lightweight design allows easy installation in confined areas; clamps or mounting hardware are not included.
WARRANTY. Comes with a limited 5-year construction warranty and emissions warranty, providing assurance of quality and durability.
