Description
Universal Catalytic Converter. The Magnaflow Universal Catalytic Converter; California Grade CARB Compliant; 2.50-Inch is engineered to reduce harmful emissions and help keep the check engine light off by maximizing catalytic efficiency. It is designed for professional installation involving cutting and welding to fit your vehicle’s exhaust configuration, making it ideal for customized or universal applications.
Construction and Appearance. Made from highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel, this converter uses high-strength 16 gauge 409 stainless steel tubing and durable 308 stainless steel MIG welds. Its clam-shell body design with continuous seam welds ensures excellent thermal insulation and structural integrity. An attached heat shield made of aluminized steel provides additional protection during operation. The stainless steel finish enhances durability and provides a clean, robust appearance.
Installation. This product requires professional installation due to its adaptable universal design that needs cutting and welding to ensure proper fitment. No clamps, hangers, gaskets, or mounting hardware are included. A qualified installer with experience in custom exhaust systems is recommended for optimal results.
