      Description

      Superior Engine Boost. Upgrade your RAM 1500’s performance and power by replacing those restrictive manifolds with these impressive Kooks 1.625-Inch Torque Series Shorty Headers. These headers are designed with 4-to-1 mitered merge collector and flanges with D-shaped ports for decreased turbulence and increased exhaust velocity. These assemblies allow your engine to push the exhaust gases out of the cylinders with more ease, providing your RAM with improved horsepower delivery and additional torque.

      Powerful Exhaust Sound. These Torque Series Shorty Headers produce an intense exhaust tone that enhances your truck’s outdoor confidence. These headers deliver an aggressive growl, as befits your tough RAM’s bolder performance.

      Long-Lasting Durability. Built to withstand harsh impacts from the power-generating combustion process, these Torque Series Shorty Headers are constructed using heavy-duty T304 stainless steel tubing. These mandrel-bent headers are also fully welded for high durability. Additionally, the header flanges are CNC-machined to eliminate cracking and to ensure a perfect fit.

      No Tune Required. These Torque Series Shorty Headers are designed to improve the performance of your 5.7L RAM 1500 without the need of reprogramming your truck's computer. By utilizing a free-flowing design, these headers will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, it's still recommended that a custom tune be done to reprogram the vehicle's computer (ECU) and get the best possible performance from these headers.

      CARB Status. This pair of Torque Series Shorty Header assemblies is available in all states except California and New York. It is not legal for sale in California or use on vehicles registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Please check local laws for permitted applications.

      Application. Kooks specifically designed these 1.625-Inch Torque Series Shorty Headers to be used on all 2009 to 2018 5.7L RAM 1500 models.
