Description
Premium SiriusXM Satellite Radio Antenna Upgrade Kit. This antenna kit allows users to add SiriusXM satellite radio capabilities to compatible 2007+ Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles. It supports both navigation and non-navigation radios, providing essential satellite radio and GPS signal reception to enhance in-car entertainment and navigation functionality.
Construction and Options. The kit offers three antenna types: a hard mount, which is a 100% factory OEM Mopar dual antenna installed on the vehicle roof capable of receiving both GPS and satellite signals; a soft mount, which includes SiriusXM antenna, GPS antenna, and a multiplexer for combining signals in navigation radios; and a magnetic mount, featuring a single high-quality aftermarket antenna that installs magnetically on the vehicle exterior.
Installation. Installation difficulty is rated 3 out of 5. The hard mount requires drilling and routing wires behind the radio cavity for signal transmission. Soft and magnetic mounts follow basic installation guidelines without the need for drilling if the factory hard mount antenna is already present. Installation accessories such as screws and clips are included with the hard mount option.
