Take advantage of a wide range of entertainment, navigation, and information functions when you upgrade with the Infotainment 8.40-Inch 4C NAV UAQ Retrofit Kit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; No Dash Bezel Included. This retrofit kit replaces your factory AM/FM radio with an extensive system that allows you to access navigation, information, and entertainment applications both native to this device as well as those on your smartphone. This feature opens up a world of possibilities that can make driving your RAM not just more pleasant but safer. Additionally, this system features an OE-grade design, allowing it to blend with your interiors nicely.
GPS Navigation and Smartphone Access. This infotainment system is preinstalled with GPS navigation, enabling it to work with your GPS antenna. This makes navigation much more efficient. Additionally, the exclusive Uconnect Bluetooth function enables you to access your smartphone, allowing you to make and receive calls completely hands-free. Lastly, this device will work with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This enables you to utilize any entertainment and navigation apps you have installed, giving you more options in those areas.
Efficiently Designed Controls. One of the most significant features of this device is its 8.40-inch, full-color touchscreen display designed for efficient use. Specifically, this display comes with easy to understand icons and highly responsive touch controls, making navigation of this device extremely intuitive. This device is also engineered to work with your RAM’s steering wheel audio controls as well as a backup camera. This latter feature is particularly useful since you now have a larger display for a safer reverse.
Resilient Construction. This infotainment system features a high-grade alloy housing for durability and vibration resistance. Likewise, its bezels and panels are precision-molded from automotive-grade plastic and are designed to match the look of your truck’s factory radio. This ensures an OE-grade fit and finish when installed.
User-Friendly Install Procedure. This infotainment system installs into factory locations on your truck. No drilling or modifications are necessary. Additionally, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
Comes with a 90-Day Limited Warranty. This infotainment system comes with a 90-day limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s site for more details.
Application. This Infotainment 8.40-Inch 4C NAV UAQ Retrofit Kit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; No Dash Bezel Included fits all 2013-2017 RAM 1500 models.
Application Notes. A subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio is needed to access this service. Also, 2013-2014 models equipped with heated seats and/or heated steering wheels will require an extra module to retain the use of those features.
Technical Note. For UAS radios, it normally takes additional time for the radio to acclimate to the BCM of the vehicle. This can take approximately 24-48 hours.
Important Notes.
- If your truck is a 2013-2014 and currently features heated seats, ventilated seats, and/or heated steering wheel you will need an extra module to retain those features, which is Infotainment's 4C Retrofit Interface.
- Customers who are currently subscribed to the paid subscription of UConnect Access will forfeit this feature by upgrading to the new UConnect 4 system.
- Compatible with Infotainment's plug and play third brake light cargo camera.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing steering wheel mounted audio controls. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's Steering Wheel Audio Control Kit.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing back-up rear view camera. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's TailGate Handle Backup Camera Kit.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing roof-mounted Sirius satellite radio antenna. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's Custom SiriusXM GPS Antenna Kit. If your current radio features Sirius Travel Link and Sirius Traffic it will be retained with the UAQ upgrade. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's OBD Genie C-STL Programmer.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing UConnect® bluetooth hands-free calling feature. If your vehicle doesn't have that feature, then you can use Infotainment's UConnect Microphone Kit.
