Description
Innovative Fuel Pickup Solution. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (3X15) RECT - CENTER OUT - 3/8 is engineered to prevent fuel starvation by maintaining continuous fuel supply in demanding conditions such as hard cornering, acceleration, braking, inclines, and low fuel levels. It uses fluid wicking and surface tension to draw fuel from nearly any area in the tank, ensuring stable engine performance and eliminating stalling caused by air entering the system.
Construction and Appearance. Made with advanced wicking media featuring tiny pores, the HydraMat is beige and designed to be foldable and compressible, allowing installation through various fuel cell openings. Its internal reservoir and microporous structure enable effective fuel retention and act as a 15-micron pre-filter before the fuel pump.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no special tools aside from the possible use of Click Bond stud kits for fixed mounting. The mat is compatible with universal fitting locations, and no sealing paste or tape should be used on the female NPT thread to prevent pump failure.
Warranty. This product comes with a limited 90-day manufacturer’s warranty.
Application. Designed specifically to fit flat bottom rectangular fuel cells with minimum dimensions of 15 inches by 3 inches; not for use with diesel fuels.
