Description
Understanding Holley’s HydraMat. Holley’s HydraMat Mustang Fuel Tank Pickup system is a soft, flexible, porous mat with a single, centralized opening that installs to the end of your Mustang’s fuel pickup tube to aid in the collection of fuel and minimize air contamination into the fuel system. Able to gather fuel from any area of the tank that a portion of the mat touches, this product helps prevent fuel starvation by extending the reach of the fuel pickup, no longer requiring full submersion for adequate fuel flow.
Addresses Fuel Starvation Issues. During instances of aggressive driving, including hard braking, cornering, accelerating, and steep inclines, fuel can slosh about the fuel tank, momentarily exposing the fuel pump pickup and allowing air to contaminate the fuel system. Air in the fuel system will generally cause your Mustang to bog down, run rough, or possibly stall. Holley HydraMat solves this issue by mounting to the end of the fuel pickup tube and extending to the outer reaches of the fuel tank, absorbing any fuel present in the tank and storing it until a moment where a portion of the HydraMat is exposed to air. Surface tension then closes the HydraMat’s absorbing pores, drawing stored fuel into the pickup.
Integrated 15-Micron Fuel Filter. In addition to eliminating issues associated with fuel starvation, Holley HydraMat also acts as a 15-micron fuel filter to keep harmful contaminants and particles from entering your Mustang’s fuel system.
Warranty. A limited 90-day warranty protects this product from manufacturing defects.
Application. This Mustang Fuel Tank Pickup Holley HydraMat is a universal-fit product applicable to 2015-2024 Ford Mustangs.
