      Description

      Shock Performance Technology. The FOX Performance Series 8.9in. Smooth Body is designed to drastically improve the handling and comfort of your truck or SUV under all driving conditions. It utilizes race-proven damping control technology to deliver a smooth on-road drive and consistent off-road performance, even in the most challenging terrains.

      Construction and Appearance. This shock features a durable 2.0-inch impact extruded and CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum body with a clear anodized finish to resist rust and enhance cooling. The components are crafted from black-anodized, CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum, combined with a hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel shaft for long-lasting strength and reliability. It also incorporates an internal floating piston mono-tube design to separate shock oil from the nitrogen-charged gas chamber, which eliminates oil aeration and maximizes damping performance.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling when replacing OEM shocks, provided no lift kits altering the original mounts are involved. The shock mounts directly using the provided BP5 top mount and C1 bottom mount hardware.

      Application. This shock is specifically engineered to fit the 2011-2019 GMC Sierra 3500 HD models. It is not compatible with magnetic suspension systems or lift kits that modify the factory original equipment mounts.
