Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Offset/Offset Oval Muffler with 2.25-inch inlet and outlet delivers a deep, aggressive exhaust note ideal for street and strip use. It combines race-proven Delta Flow® technology with sound characteristics favored by high horsepower and forced induction vehicles, enhancing both performance and auditory appeal.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from 16 gauge aluminized steel for durability, the muffler features full MIG welding and a high-temperature paint finish. Its oval body design with offset inlet and outlet optimizes flow and reduces interior resonance for balanced sound and improved performance.
Installation. Designed for universal fitment with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, installation may require some adaptation and the use of new hangers, which are not included. Typically, no drilling is required for clamp-on or weld-on connections.
Application. This muffler fits a wide range of vehicles including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip, and trucks/SUVs. Universal fitment means some modification may be necessary to suit specific vehicle configurations.
