The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Force Offset/Offset Race Muffler with 3.50-Inch inlet and 3.50-Inch outlet is designed to deliver excellent power characteristics combined with significant sound reduction. It is ideal for racing applications where mufflers are required to reduce decibel levels substantially compared to open headers, producing an aggressive sound.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Featuring a durable fully welded 16 gauge body made of 409 stainless steel, this muffler offers strong resistance to wear and heat. It includes a high-temperature black painted finish and incorporates chambered delta flow technology without internal packing, preventing blowout and ensuring consistent performance and longevity.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. This muffler requires some adaptation for mounting as it uses new hangers that are not included. Installation involves slip-fit inlet and outlet connections with clamp-on or weld-on attachment options, typically without the need for drilling.
