      Optimized Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Center/Center Oval Muffler features a 2.50-inch inlet and 2.50-inch outlet designed for aggressive sound and enhanced exhaust flow. It is engineered for street and strip use and suits high horsepower and forced induction vehicles, providing a great balance of power and acoustics.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from 16-gauge aluminized steel with full MIG welding, this muffler offers durability and longevity. It is finished with a black high-temperature paint and has an oval body shape that incorporates Delta Flow® technology to improve performance and reduce interior resonance.

      Installation. Installation uses slip-fit inlet and outlet connections suitable for both clamp-on and weld-on methods. Due to universal fitment, some adaptation may be required. Note that new hangers are needed as none are included with the muffler.
