Description

The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Offset/Offset Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch inlet and outlet is engineered to provide aggressive sound and enhanced exhaust flow, ideal for street, strip, and off-road use. Its chambered design reduces interior resonance, delivering a more refined exterior tone compared to standard 40 series mufflers, which improves overall vehicle performance and sound quality.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Made from 16 gauge aluminized steel with full MIG welding, this muffler offers durability and long service life. It features a high-temperature black painted finish and an oval shape with offset inlet and outlet located on the same side for improved aesthetics and fitment.
_x000D_Installation. Installation is simple with slip-fit inlet and outlet connections, allowing for clamp-on or weld-on methods. While drilling is typically unnecessary, new hangers are recommended as original hangers are not included.
_x000D_Application. Designed for universal fitment, this muffler may require some adaptation. It fits a variety of vehicles, including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs.
