Description
Flexible in Use. Even more versatile than the ordinary, the gray hard anodized Factor 55 FlatLink E (Expert) is made with a pear-shaped shackle mounting opening so that you can choose between putting the pin or the bow end of the screw pin shackle through the hole. This gives more options in extracting your 1994-2026 RAM from sticky situations, but carries more risk of shackle side loading and therefore needs careful monitoring (hence the "Expert" title). The FlatLink E creates the same closed winching operation, with the recovery straps held inside the shackle loop so they can't slip off as with a hook. The FlatLink E's 1.75" thickness makes it compatible with roller fairlead license plate holders and its max load of 16,000 lbs. (40,000 lb. failure point) makes it strong enough for all recoveries.
Thoroughly Planned Design. The FlatLink E's design shows thoughtful construction everywhere, including the 5/8" double shear pin, made out of 6Al4V Titanium and secured by an internal snap ring. This allows you to insert the eye of steel cables or synthetic ropes up to 3/8" diameter into the FlatLink without splicing. This shackle mount supports 3/4" D-rings or screw pin shackles. It features a military grade Mil-A-8625 F Type III anodized coating plus a 1-year limited warranty.
Application. The Gray Factor 55 FlatLink E (Expert) is suitable for mounting on the recovery winch of any 1994-2026 Dodge RAM 1500 pickup.
