      Description

      Improved Recovery. Getting rid of the winch hook on your pickup has some major advantages. This Black Factor 55 FlatLink provides the interface needed to connect your winch line to a screw pin shackle, which offers much better recovery characteristics. Since a screw pin shackle is a closed loop, unlike a hook, the recovery straps won't slip out suddenly or get frayed against the point.

      Quality Features. The FlatLink features a 3/4" hole for mounting a screw pin shackle at one end and the other end has a 5/8" grade 5 steel double shear pin. Steel cable or synthetic rope from your winch loops over this pin without splicing, enabling the FlatLink shackle mount to connect it to the shackle.

      Convenient Flat Design. Made in the USA, this FlatLink by Factor 55 is crafted from 6000 series billet aluminum. It features a slim design with a total thickness of 1.75", so you can use it without moving the license plate bracket of a roller fairlead. It also functions with hawse fairleads. The finish is a black powdercoating for extra protection. The FlatLink features EPDM synthetic rubber guards to keep it from scraping the fairlead and has a 16,000 pound max load (40,000 lbs. ultimate failure). Factor 55 covers this shackle mount with a 1-year warranty.

      Application. This Black Factor 55 FlatLink is suitable for use on the winches of 2002-2024 Dodge RAM 1500s.
