      Tailgate Protection and Bed Seal Enhancement. The Extang MaxSeal Tailgate Seal offers an effective solution for sealing your truck bed against dust, moisture, and debris. Designed for use with tonneau covers and toppers, this universal-fit tailgate seal enhances your cargo protection by creating a tight barrier between the bed and tailgate of your RAM 1500.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from high-grade EPDM rubber, the MaxSeal resists UV damage, gasoline, oil, and harsh environmental conditions. Its flexible, yet durable construction ensures a long-lasting seal, while the 8.5-foot length provides ample coverage for most tailgate designs. The black finish blends seamlessly with your tailgate trim.

      Installation. Installation is easy with a peel-and-stick design utilizing pre-applied automotive-grade 3M adhesive. Simply clean the mounting surface and press the seal into place for a quick, secure fit.
