Description
The Latest Innovation in Performance Tuning. The Edge Pulsar Inline Tuning Module is the latest tuning innovation for your naturally-aspirated RAM truck. This tuning module works as an extra PCM. Specifically, it provides your truck with the benefits of a basic handheld tuner without the hassle of unlocking your PCM. Furthermore, it utilizes your in-dash gear indicator as its display and uses steering wheel cruise control to adjust levels for instant performance changes. Indeed, this module doesn’t alter your stock PCM in any way, so all you have to do is remove the unit prior to a visit to your dealership.
Practical Fuel Economy. Besides improving performance, this inline tuning module also comes with settings for fuel economy. This gives you practical savings at the pump. With the fuel economy settings, you get to save on some of your hard-earned cash. In fact, before long this module will be paying for itself.
Unique Design. This tuning module features 2 standard PCM connectors on either side of the unit. This allows the module to connect to your stock PCM, piggyback-style. This design eliminates the need for potentially cumbersome wiring, as the only wiring used is all factory-ready. What’s more, this component is manufactured from high-grade alloy and automotive-grade plastic, ensuring it can withstand engine bay heat.
Eight Levels of Performance. The Pulsar tuning module offers tunes for stock, fuel economy, towing, and performance. These four tunes can then be configured with your RAM’s MDS turned on or off. This brings the total levels of performance to 8, ensuring you can find one that’s just right for your needs.
This inline tuning module also provides adjustments for the following parameters:
- Accelerator Pedal Response
- Axle Gear Ratio
- Advanced Ignition Timing
- Throttle Boost
- Disable or Enable Active Fuel Management
- Tire Size
PC-Updateable. This tuning module can be updated by connecting your PC directly onto your OBDII port. Simply download an appropriate Update Agent onto your laptop or PC and connect to your truck using an OBDII to USB cable (sold separately). Please note that the tuning module has to be installed on your truck prior to updating.
Application. The Edge Pulsar Inline Tuning Module fits all 2015- 2018 5.7L RAM 1500 models.
