      Description

      High Performance Distributor. The Edelbrock Max-Fire Distributor is designed to replace or upgrade ignition systems on Chrysler 273-318-340-360 LA V8 engines.       Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum with O-ring grooves for a secure fit, it features a cap and rotor molded from durable 30% glass filled polyester. The distributor includes brass contacts and a stainless steel rotor spring for superior conductivity, and a hardened iron drive gear for extended durability.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with a simple three-wire hookup, requiring no drilling or external ignition control components. It is designed for a direct fit to compatible Chrysler LA engines, simplifying upgrade or replacement tasks.
