Description
Oil Catch Can System. The Corsa Performance Oil Catch Can is engineered to capture blow-by gases, water, oil vapors, and particulates before they enter the intake system. This reduces carbon build-up on valves and protects intake components, ultimately enhancing engine performance and longevity. It fits PCV systems with hose diameters of 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, and 5/8 inch, helping maintain a cleaner air path and improving overall vehicle reliability.
Construction and Appearance. This oil catch can features a robust build from 6061 aluminum for lightweight strength and durability. It utilizes a multi-stage oil separation system housed in an easy-service threaded canister with a 3-ounce capacity. The mounting brackets are crafted from 11 gauge aluminum, machined and powdercoated for corrosion resistance, complemented by premium multi-ply reinforced hoses and OEM style quick disconnect fittings. A bronze filter prevents re-entry of contaminants, ensuring effective operation.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically takes 30 minutes or less with no drilling required. The kit includes multiple mounting brackets for adaptable placement and 8 feet of automotive-grade hose, offering versatile routing options compatible with a wide range of vehicles.
