Description
Valve Train Enhancement. The Comp Cams 1/2-Inch Rocker Stud and Trunnion Retro-Fit Kit increases stiffness and stability in Small Block Chevy (SBC) and Big Block Chevy (BBC) engine valve trains utilizing Ultra Pro Magnum™ or Ultra Pro Magnum™ XD rocker arms. It is used to upgrade valve trains, delivering better performance by maximizing valve motion and reducing deflection. This kit is particularly useful for applications constrained by sanctioning body rules that prohibit stud girdles.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. The kit includes 1/2" ARP studs, replacement 1/2" trunnions, polylocks, new bearings, and snap rings for a comprehensive rebuild. Components are precision-engineered for durability and high stiffness, with finishes designed to withstand high-performance conditions.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires disassembly of existing rocker arms to replace components with the kit’s parts. Drilling is not required as the kit retrofits existing setups.
