This clamp tightens the hitch securely within the receiver, ensuring a stable and quiet towing experience, making it an essential accessory for enhancing the performance and durability of your hitch setup.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Made from robust 1/2" thick pressed brake steel, this clamp boasts a durable black textured powder coat finish that provides corrosion resistance and a rugged look. The precise manufacturing tolerances and premium coating deliver reliability under heavy-duty conditions and long-lasting protection against wear.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling; the clamp is simply slid onto the hitch, inserted into the receiver, and then secured by tightening a bolt to 20 ft-lbs and a jam nut to eliminate movement. The process can be completed quickly using standard tools, making it accessible for most users.
APPLICATION. This clamp fits universally for 2.5-inch receiver hitches; however, it is not compatible with weight distribution systems and some adaptation may be necessary depending on receiver variations.
