Compact Power for Trailer Recovery. The Bulldog Winch 7,800 lb. Low Profile Trailer Winch is engineered for dependable pulling power in tight mounting spaces. Ideal for trailers and utility builds, it offers a 7,800-pound rated line pull driven by a robust 5.2 HP 12V motor. The winch features a three-stage planetary gear train and automatic load-holding brake, providing smooth operation and secure holding under load.
Construction and Appearance. Designed for performance and durability, the winch includes a 47.5-foot wire rope and compact 2.5-inch drum with a freespooling clutch for easy line payout. Its sealed 450 amp contactor switch and weather-resistant components ensure reliable use in all conditions. The low-profile design allows for easier integration onto trailers with limited space, while the included wired controller and optional wireless controller (sold separately) enhance user convenience.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with common bolt patterns (4.5" x 4" for winch and 12" x 5.8" for plate). It comes with 6-foot battery leads and is compatible with 650 CCA batteries for optimal performance. Universal fitment allows wide vehicle and trailer compatibility, though some adaptation may be necessary.
