      Prolong the Life of Your Speakers. These Boom Mat Speaker Baffles - 6x8 in. Oval Slim are made of a closed-cell polyethylene foam, promising a longer life for your speakers. This shock-absorbing material also doubles as a protector for the electrical components in your speakers by preventing water and dust from leaking into your voice coil and speaker cone. Since it's less bulky, it fits perfectly over your speakers, ensuring a proper fit even in tight spaces.

      Installation. Protecting your speakers with these Boom Mat Speaker Baffles - 6x8 in. Oval Slim is simple and requires a pen, scissors, an awl, and silicone sealant. All you need to do is check the fit of the baffle with your speaker, trace the outline, then cut along your trace lines. Use an awl to insert the speaker into the baffle without damaging the housing, then seal it and complete the installation of the speakers per the manufacturer's instructions.
