Description
Regain Control. Regain ideal handling control of your 2 to 2.50-inch lifted F-350 Super Duty with the Bilstein B8 5100 Series Front Shock for 2 to 2.50-Inch Lift. This front shock features velocity-sensitive digressive valving technology that’s designed to provide “customized” damping by conforming to the terrain you’re on. This exclusive technology, when combined with its monotube gas-charged build, delivers immediate damping performance and pin-point handling control when driving off-road. Additionally, this shock provides a firm but no less comfortable ride quality on the highway with the same level of handling. This factor makes this shock ideal for daily driven trucks that see action off-road.
Wear-Resistant Build Quality. This front shock absorber starts as high-quality tubular steel that’s machined to its 46mm diameter, providing optimum durability and efficient heat dissipation. Similarly, its 14mm thick piston rod machined from chrome-hardened steel, giving it the strength it needs to take on the trails. This shock also utilizes high-quality vulcanized neoprene rubber bushings that offer excellent vibration damping, helping improve ride comfort. Finally, this assembly receives a wear-resistant zinc plating and a clear topcoat for superior protection against rust.
Practical Install Procedure. This front shock will use your truck’s stock front shock locations as its mounting areas without the need for extra drilling in most applications. Also, installation requires the use of basic hand tools, making the procedure fairly practical.
